We are back online with a new site!

We were gone for a while due to troubles with the web host deleting our files and database but we are finally back with a new website but have much of the same great content! We've removed the forum since it didn't get much use and we've added a bunch more histories and moved to a wiki style site (similar to Wikipedia but not the same) so we can link pages in the text really easy.

We'll be adding more content as we get it and add more features as needed. We hope you enjoy the new site and remember to Like us on Facebook.

GameFowlBreeders.info Under Attack...

We are currently experiencing some attacks on our server by malicious individuals trying to gain access to our web server in order to upload files. We are taking the appropriate measures to mitigate the attacks but you may experience some slow downs or outages. We are banning IP addresses and take other precautions to protect our server and we can assure you none of your data is at risk as it is encrypted in our database with a VERY strong encryption key.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

We've removed the Gold System.

  We've recently removed the Gold System that allowed for purchasing of certain features of the site with virtual currancy (gold). As the site grows and becomes more popular the web server will be more taxed by users so we feel the server will be better off if we did away with the Gold System for now until we see a time to reimplament it. All user data has been saved and when we do reimplament it all user data will be restored so you'll have all the currency you had before.

More Additions to gamefowlbreeders.info

We posted a few things recently on the website, one was regarding an article about Roy Jones Jr. titled "Roy Jones Jr. is a game chicken" and it was an awesome article. We also added two new sections to our News Categories and a new Forum section titled "Event Announcements", we would like people or organizations to post there get togethers and poultry shows in these sections and if they like they could always PM the Admin or Keoni to have it put up on the front page.

Even more content added!

We've added more breed histories to the site which include: Marsh Butchers and Speeders, Lawman Muffs, Kentucky Doms, Holcomb Hatch, Harvey Shuffling Doms, Green Legged Sweaters and Gordon Brown Reds.

Site Updates!

We are glad to report we have fixed some of the functionality, namely the rating system on the site and content section. Also, we've fixed the BB Code functionality and added new content to the Breed History section. We added the Cassidy Doms, Gee Doms, Bumblefoot Greys, Gilmore Hatch and the Claibornes, some very good history there, I personally love the Gilmore Hatch and Claiborne histories.

Issues with the site.

Hey guys, we are having issues with our main site http://gamefowlbreeders.info/ that doesn't allow users to upload their custom avatars to the site or to choose the avatar, signature, custom title or display name once you've signed up. Rest assured we are working on fixing these issues ASAP and hopefully we'll have it working shortly or we'll remove it.

To donate or not to donate...

  Like most Americans I'm not a rich fellow, I'm not even a poor fellow, I'm beyond poor (I was told in the bottom 200% of poor Americans) but I would like to help organizations who help others. I've been thinking recently of donating a few dollars to various organizations and I've decided to send some money to the Humane Society, not the Humane Society of the US who doesn't help strays find a place to live or other things the local Humane Society does but the the people who actually care about animals and not just money. Although I raise gamefowl the local Humane Society doesn't want gamefowl to be wiped off the planet (to the best of my knowledge) like the HSUS does. So I would suggest everyone to donate to your local Humane Society and give a few dollars or even volunteer some time with them.

  I would also like to donate to the CCF (The Center for Consumer Freedom), they are a non-profit organization that stand up to money hungry animal "rights" groups to help combat the laws the ARA like to push onto the American people. so consider donating to these two groups.

  And another thing, go eat a Chicken Sandwich and some mcNuggets from McDonalds, I'll be having some myself tonight and maybe some for lunch!
